Just when I think there is a limit to how dishonest and manipulative the public health agencies can be, they keep surprising me.

I don’t know how they sleep at night.

I know what you mean. It seems they are just constantly working the numbers to spin their story. But if they are, the truth will come out in time.

The scarey thing about it is that Alberta is by far the most transparent province in Canada. Think about that!!

Yes we do. I think it's the only way to either confirm or refute these observations.

Who exactly is putting this “data” on the website? Does anyone know? They definitely need to be held accountable for their “mistakes”. Pls let me know so I can pursue this and get them to stop and correct.

I cannot figure it out. I have emailed and called several times, but they just never reply. Please try. WE have to demand answers. Write your MLA too.

The other questionable change in their data is a sudden drop of 20,000 people from 4.44M to 4.42M over 4 days of "technical difficulties". This would have the effect of deceased denominator for the unvaxxed, increasing their cases and hospitalizations per 100k

I'm not sure I understand your comment. Where are you seeing this drop. It would have that affect for sure. It might be the cause, but what do the 4.44 & 4.42 million represent? Is it the total population of the province? Where are you seeing the numbers?

AB total population as of October is 4,464,170 according to https://www.alberta.ca/population-statistics.aspx. AHS only shows 4,420,039 on https://www.alberta.ca/stats/covid-19-alberta-statistics.htm#vaccinations. The missing 44k are likely unvaxxed if AHS doesn't have them in the vaccine record counts. I thought i had pulled the 44.4 number from the covid stats page of alberta.ca but i can't find it now.

Great points. It's an angle I'm going to pursue.

I am not Canadian, but if you leave in Alberta, you need to contact the agency (in writing) and demand answers (in writing) and copy your elected representative. Then you need to consult with a lawyer about the potential for criminal fraud litigation when it comes to public data manipulation.
